I graduated from the University of Arizona in May 2020 with a major in Physiology. Just before graduating I coached chess privately to students and absolutely loved learning about how different students think given how complicated chess can be. I am still coaching chess to a few students of different ages and it is quite enjoyable to see them succeed in tournaments due to the strategies I have taught them. During my undergraduate years, I also preceptored for general chemistry and introductory biology for a total of 2 years and was able to clarify any concepts that may be confusing in a concise manner. Less formally, I have also tutored Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 to my friends and brother throughout the years just because I enjoy the subject and it was very satisfying to hear them say how much clearer it was and why certain steps were taken to solve a problem. I have always loved teaching and the greatest achievements for me have all been students succeeding, whether it be in a chess tournament or on an exam. I will always be passionate about teaching, the game of chess, and simply helping others.
