I am passionate about teaching students because not only do I want them to learn and succeed, I want them to enjoy learning! I try to find ways to teach that are fun and interactive whenever I can! I also try to apply real-world scenarios to what they are learning whenever possible.

I have been tutoring and teaching students since I was fourteen years old, and now I teach kindergarten full time. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I have tutored students in various subjects from kindergarten- 4th grade. I absolutely love my teaching job, but I also miss tutoring one-on-one! What is so special about one-on-one is how individualized the teaching can be. I can find out what the student enjoys and find ways to incorporate their interest into the learning, and we can work on specific things they need extra support in!
