From early time in school, I learned that I enjoy not only the scientific thinking of math and geometry but also how to link that to real world problems. This influenced my decision to pursue my degree in engineering, my undergraduate major. I also have a master degree in Business Administration.
I love tutoring because it allows me to help students achieve their goals. My education has also taught me to look at problems from multiple perspectives, a skill I started developing in high school. My time in undergraduate schooling has also taught me that I love to learn. I held a near-perfect GPA but this is not because of an innate intelligence or grade-fixation. I attribute my academic success far more to hard work and a love of learning. I like to teach students how to develop that skill.
I helped many students in the last 20 years and I feel happy when they drop me a thank you note after they graduate from the college :)
