I am a Mathematics major, Chemistry minor at Michigan State University studying to become a secondary educator. I have been an undergraduate learning assistant for General Chemistry (CEM 141), College Algebra (MTH 103 and MTH 103A), and Quantitative Literacy (MTH 101), all at MSU. I also worked as a tutor in the Math Learning Center at MSU. I am in the College of Education and have had many placements in schools (elementary, middle and high school) in the Lansing Area, with specific placement in a 7th grade math class at Waverly Middle School. I also have experience Substitute Teaching in Waverly, Dewitt, and Lansing schools. I have been working with Grand Ledge Campus Life for two years, where I have had training with mentoring high school-aged students. I am a HUGE believer that everyone is good at math, but not everyone has had a fair chance to learn it in a way that works for them. It is my goal to help people see the complex beauty in math and science!
