I became a teacher because being a student was challenging. I felt like I could never do the work and I believed my teachers just couldn't understand. Mathematics was a language that made little sense to me. When it finally began to click and it was time for me to decide what career I wanted to enter, it was an easy decision.
My passion is not only teaching math in a way that enables all students to learn and comprehend, but also demonstrating that understanding will come. My students love my classes because we make it fun! Math is meant to be learned while smiling, laughing, finding the connections to prior learning and everyday life!
