When teaching music, I pride myself on finding the balance between keeping students interested and curious by catering to their specific tastes, and equipping them with necessary fundamentals they'll need to be versatile and proficient in their own musical niches. Personally, I'm grateful to have had teachers/instructors that simultaneously nurtured my interests and built my skill set, so my teaching philosophy is built around emulating that.
