I am an undergraduate student currently in my senior year at Long Island University: CW Post, and I major in music education. I love teaching and helping people because I love to learn, and I love to help other people learn. My specific focuses within music are music theory, composition, French horn, and voice. At Long Island University: CW Post, I am a double major in horn and voice, and hope to assist many students in finding their own musical voice. I have had the pleasure of many great performing experiences- I have performed in the Montreux Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall, and St. Peter's Church in Manhattan. As a teacher, I have worked as a section leader of the Long Island Sound Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and I am a section leader at my church choir as well. I was also an English tutor through an online company for a period of 5 months. As a hobby, I like to compose and arrange music. Hobbies outside of music include writing, reading, hiking, bowling, and enjoying quality family time.
