I believe playing guitar should be an avenue of personal development and self expression, but above all else it should be fun! This is why I will avoid teaching rigorous music theory. Instead, I will focus on developing the muscle memory and tonal awareness necessary for a student to begin writing their own original compositions, or to learn any popular song that piques their interest.
