I am currently a student at the University of Florida studying Statistics. I have been tutoring since I was midway though high school (about 6 years). Although my major screams that I only teach mathematics, my experiences from working with professors at Shands from the department of Respiratory and Cardiovascular Sciences also have given me a strong Physics and Chemistry background as well.
My hobbies include making gaming Youtube videos, playing guitar, and refereeing basketball.
I feel like tutoring has some similarities to some of my hobbies especially refereeing: Many players on the court think they know the rules but are seeing it from a different perspective. I have had many clients come to me thinking they have a certain concept figured out, but then I look back and see that they have been taught it incorrectly or have learned it in a sub-par manner.
My goal is to do my best to sort out the kinks in the fundamental concepts of what you need help on and then work to build onto harder more complex problems. I thank you for even considering to have me tutor you or your children and hope to be working with you soon!
