After graduating from Texas State University in 2013, I started my teaching career at Alice High School teaching Algebra II. Over the next 9 years, I've gained experience in 7th & 8th grade Mathematics, Algebra I and Geometry from various school districts like Lamar, Beeville and now Victoria. Tutoring has been rewarding seeing struggling students have their light bulb moments. It has also helped me grow as an educator finding new innovative ways to cover concepts. I believe students being able to talk through their process helps cement their learning. In Math students need repetition to grow, so seeking tutoring will give them the extra practice needed to help flatten their forgetting curve.
