I'm a graduate of the University of San Francisco and a medical student of the University of Queensland. I have a degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry and economics. I enjoy teaching and have been tutoring since I was in high school nearly a decade ago. From peer tutoring my classmates in high school, to coming back during my college years to tutor in my old school district, to patient education once I was in hospital, I've taught many different things to many different types of people. The subjects I excel at are Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, and Biology. I love Algebra and Chemistry. Most of the material can be seen as a puzzle that needs to be solved. This passion for problem solving led me to medicine which married my two great academic loves: puzzles and nature. I love being outdoors, in the wilderness, hiking off the main paths. I like exploring and trying the unconventional and this has brought me success in tutoring by helping me figure out the best way to connect with the student and teach them according to how they learn best. In my free time, when I'm not outside playing soccer or hiking, I'm indoors either with a good book, or playing table top games like Dungeons & Dragons with friends.
