I am a recent graduate from UCSD, with a B.S. in Human Biology. I was also recently accepted into dental school but decided to pursue medicine instead. I excelled in biology in both high school and college and have a passion for teaching. I spent time as a tutor in high school, and in college I was the Vice President Academic of the Pi Xi chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon. In college my favorite subjects to teach and study were molecular biology as well as biochemistry. The depth and importance of these fields are vast, and I personally feel that understanding the concepts in these areas are particularly rewarding. I find the one of the most satisfying feelings as a teacher is when you see a student truly grasp a concept and understand the material. To realize this feeling, I focus on determining the students learning style and then focusing my lessons based on that learning style. My hobbies include basketball, football, going to the gym, cooking, and playing video games. I am excited to be a tutor, and I look forward to working with you!
