I am here to help any students with the basic of maths.
Teach students different methods that can help them remember specific tool sets needed for math.
Also give students resources that can help them, to better expand their learning techniques within math
What is your teaching philosophy?
My philosophy of teaching is based off the way each of my students learn. I think it's best not to have each of my students learn one method, because each student learns differently.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Give the student a couple of math problems to see how they solve problems on their own, and so I can point out their weak and strong points.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By encouraging them not to overthink a problem, so that they will not forget how to solve it.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Tell them to always ask for help, or refer back to resources if they get stuck.
