I have been a teacher for 16 years. My specialty area is Math 7,8, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. I try to give students many different ways to look at how to do problems so they can choose the one that is best for them.

Q & A
How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?
If a student is struggling with reading comprehension, first I would find out their current level, and then add just a bit more difficulty to see if they could handle it. Another thing that could be done is to use technology, like an audio transcription if one is available, to increase listening and comprehension skills.
