Science is my passion! From General Biology and Chemistry, through Genetics, Molecular Biology, and much more!
Like many other students, I experienced the struggles of trying to understanding difficult concepts. Many years later, I have now mastered the difficult material, and I am ready to convey it to you!
Together, we will do whatever it takes to reach your goals. We can utilize different learning methods such as visualization, conversation, problem solving, and conceptualization. We can focus directly on your problem areas, or take a step back and look at the big picture. As a double major in Biochemistry and Neuroscience, I don't only know the material, but I also understand how it is learned best. My objective is to make you comfortable enough to tutor the subject yourself!
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy activities such as hiking and running. I also research Alzheimer's and Diabetes in lab rats!
I practice healthy lifestyle habits from eating well, to exercise and good sleep. I would love to answer any questions on how I optimize my life to be the best scientist possible!

What is your teaching philosophy?
We will talk about the methods that work best. From visualization through conceptualization and problem-solving. I will give different approaches to approach the material at hand in a way that the student can grasp.
