What is your teaching philosophy?

Tutors act as guides for students. We provide information and assistance, but students must actively participate in their learning experiences in order to truly benefit.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

I would like to have a conversation with my student about their goals and what they hope to get from tutoring. This lets us formulate strategies that will help the student even after a tutoring session ends.
