Hi! I'm a graduate student at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN with an undergraduate in biomedical engineering and a two-year degree in biology. I've been interested in research for a few years and have recently moved to Cannon Fall, MN to pursue neural research at Mayo Clinic. I have experience mentoring college level students in biomedical engineering courses, middle school students in computer programming, algebra, and geometry, and pre-school students in colors, animals, and counting. I have been with Varsity Tutors for about six months and am pro-science, pro-math, and love to teach.
Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
Reading comprehension deals with understanding a story. Every story has a beginning, a middle, and an end. If a student can reframe the story to themselves, they can pass reading comprehension with flying colors.
