Education has always been a passion of mine. I love to learn about new things and expand my knowledge of various topics. Above that, I enjoying helping people even more. After receiving my Bachelor's in Science from UC San Diego in Biochemistry, I decided to pursue a profession in health care. I felt that by going into health care I can utilize my passion for biology to help others in need. I decided on Optometry and currently I am attending Marshall B. Ketchum University to obtain my Doctor of Optometry degree. I absolutely love where I am and want to help others achieve their dreams.

What is your teaching philosophy?
My philosophy of teaching is to learn the material with the student and to not be paternalistic. Students learn best in an environment they are comfortable in, and as a teacher, it is my job to identify what their best learning atmosphere is and mold my teaching method to that.
