I am a graduate of Wittenberg University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology. One of the highlights of my college experience was working as an advisor in the Writing Center, where I helped students draft and revise their papers. For three years, I also lead Supplemental Instruction sessions for students taking introductory biology. I am proficient in Spanish, having completed AP classes in high school as well as some college-level courses. My special areas of interest are Biology and English. I love learning and want to inspire my students to undertake their own quests for knowledge. In my spare time, I enjoy writing young adult novels, reading, bird watching, and the great outdoors.
