I am a student at San Diego Community College pursuing a transfer to San Diego State University for a Bachelor's in Mathematics with an emphasis in finance. Math has always been my strongest subject for me throughout my life and I have always had a passion for math which is why I decided to pursue a degree in math. I have a year of tutoring experience during my senior year of high school and I really enjoyed making myself available for other students to help them along with difficult math concepts. I find tutoring very rewarding and love to see students grow and develop their skills with my help. I have learned in high school that hard work always pays off, and the same type of effort in the classroom is necessary for success throughout and beyond school. If you do not challenge yourself you will never get better, and that is how I would describe my tutoring style. I start out showing students the path in order to get to the solutions, and then I challenge the student to find the solution on their own. That way the student will be able to perform on tests and quizzes without someone helping them along. Outside of school and tutoring I enjoy watching sports, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
