I am a graduate student at Missouri State University studying to earn a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. I received my Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from the same university and graduated summa cum laude. I am currently a graduate assistant in the marketing department and have experience tutoring students in the subject matter. The most popular class I tutor for is the entry-level Principles of Marketing. I am passionate about most all areas of business and have significant knowledge in many areas. My biggest strengths are in finance, marketing/advertising, and macroeconomics.
In high school I often tutored students in math and spanish. Math has always been something I flourish in and am capable of teaching to others. I love languages and learning about different cultures, but I unfortunately lost my fluency in Spanish. It is something I one day hope to recover.
I love everything about learning new things. I often think back to before I went to business school and can't imagine not knowing what I know now. It is corny, but knowledge really is power. For this reason I have fallen in love with teaching. It is the absolute most rewarding moment when a student learns something new. My plan for the future is to enter the corporate world for a few years and then hopefully find myself teaching business in high school or college.
When I am not working or studying I love to be outdoors. I am lucky to live somewhere that has so much beauty for me to explore. My favorite thing to do is hike with friends in the summer.
