About Me

I have experience with classroom and one-on-one tutoring. I first began tutoring young children (elementary school) in my last two years high school through both private sessions and in the classroom at a local Korean School. I tutored English and math to 2 students (grades 1 and 3) twice a week for two hours and taught Korean to a class of 5 students once a week for two hours. During the last two years of my undergraduate career, I served as a teaching assistant for the General Chemistry Department. Twice a week, I taught and supervised two 3-hour lab sections of 25 students each. In addition, I was required to grade weekly lab reports and tutor all levels of inorganic chemistry in the chemistry help room each week. Through these opportunities, I have learned the virtue of patience and communication. I believe that my experience, in addition to my passion for learning and compassion for my students, make me a great tutor.
