I am a graduate of Long Island University, Brooklyn, NY, where I received my Master Of Science in Biology. After graduating, I worked as a biology technician in a community college and assisted in various research projects. During office hours, I would tutor students and help them with their laboratory reports. Working at the college allowed me to realize that my passion is to help students reach their full academic goals and potential. I then decided to change careers and become a high school biology teacher.
Teaching and tutoring biology for the past twelve years has been challenging, yet rewarding. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it is necessary for an improved quality of life. I try to make this impact on all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, yoga, and exercising.
