I graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Electrical Engineering. I worked as a tutor at Spokane Falls Community College's Math and Science Center. I also have several years of tutoring experience with middle school students on individualized education plans. I developed a passion for science and mathematics while at college. One instructor in particular fostered this passion by setting high expectations, providing every tool necessary for us to succeed, and sharing his own enthusiasm for the subject. I like to emulate this strategy with my own students leaving them excited and empowered to achieve their goals. I specifically enjoy teaching Mathematics because it leaves students with a strong foundation to further their studies in any of the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. During my free time I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and woodworking. I also apply my studies with amateur robotics and rocketry.
