I'm an undergraduate at University of California, Santa Barbara finishing up my last quarter as an Econ Accounting major. I grew up in Pasadena, CA and attended Loyola High School in Downtown Los Angeles.

My mom is a teacher at a local junior high in Pasadena and academics have been a part of my life both at home and in school. Throughout high school I tutored students at her Junior High in all subjects. I also have extensive experience tutoring for the ISEE and HSPT high school entrance exams. I have completed all the pre-requisite writing requirements for the Writing Minor here at UCSB and have experience aiding students with an array of written works including but not limited to research, creative, and opinionated writing. Being the oldest of my generation with 25 cousins ranging from ages 8-18, I have ample experience working and communicating with children.

People usually come to me for help with the introduction to economics courses as well as all sorts of accounting courses. Accounting problems are really just simple step by step processes that follow a few principles and I love showing students how these principles relate to what seems like a complicated accounting problem. I honestly believe the more people who understand economics the better our world will be so I get a certain satisfaction from knowing I'm passing on information pertaining to such an important topic in today's world.
