I am currently a student at the University of Houston expecting to graduate in 2014 in the field of Mechanical Engineering. I am an ambitious student who loves taking challenges and tackling any obstacle that approaches me. My strong suit would be math because I enjoy doing it and teaching it. I feel confident in this subject because I not only can solve problem, but I know where these problems come from and theorems behind them. Because of my Engineering major I have a background in chemistry and physics. My physics is pretty advanced do to the fact that I took multiple courses related to this subject, but overall my math is what I am best at. I tutored prior to this job one year for Kumon Learning Center, and also I tutored for the University of Houston for freshmen students. During the these tutoring jobs I focused on the teaching of subjects related to math and science, specifically at the University of Houston I tutored calculus 1, 2,3, and algebra 2. In my free time I like to play computer games, work and admire cars, and play basketball. Not everyone loves the aspect of math, but I enjoy it so much and would love to teach someone to love it as much as me.
