About Me

I am a current fourth year medical student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fordham University with a Bachelors of Science and double majored in Biology and History. I was born and raised in Queens and now I currently reside in Manhattan. My tutoring style is very much student-centric. I work with students to create their own personalized notes from the textbook in order to focus upon what is truly important. Then, I work with students to help them understand the central concepts. Once students understand the central concepts, the details easily follow. I also have my students work through as many problems as they can on their own. When a student has struggled through a problem and succeeds by themselves, they learn more than they possibly could through an explanation. I then work with my students on the problems they could not accomplish to show them how to best tackle it in the future. My tutoring strategy is to not only teach the subject material, but to also teach the student how to study effectively by themselves. Hobbies: reading, music, writing, art, books
