I am a software engineer and logistics specialist with a B.S. from the College of Science & Engineering at the University of Minnesota.I have been a tutor in Minnesota for 10 years. I have taught a wealth of subjects at grade-levels 4th through 12th as well as college graduates and undergraduates. I am most frequently consulted for tutoring in General Writing, Mathematics and Computer Science. Those have been the trend, but not the extent, of my tutoring experience. I am proficient and proven in tutoring a vast number of subjects.I enjoy tutoring because gaining, sharing and inspiring knowledge is a part of who I am. Hey! My name is Dane Lacey. I'm from the US, but currently studying in Germany. I have over three years of experience teaching and tutoring college-level mathematics. Being able to use programming to solve math problems is really cool, and being able to use math to solve programming problems is even better. When I was young, I realized that I thought differently about Mathematics than my peers. I read the textbook and instantly understood it. Meanwhile, they struggled for hours. Seeing my childhood friends struggle in this way tugged on my heartstrings the same then as it does to see this struggle in my adult friends today.Because of this, I have developed a great passion for helping other people understand complex ideas. I have a strong belief that the best thing for a society is the spread of advanced critical thinking skills, so any learning assistance I can offer someone is doubly satisfying to me in that way.I studied for two years at Georgia Tech working towards a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, before having to withdraw for medical reasons. Through my work as a tutor, I intend to fund my return to collegiate education, although I am now interested in a degree more directly related to Mathematics.I enjoy tutoring many levels of Math, from basic Algebra all the way to mid-level Calculus. In fact, regardless of the topic at hand, I place a heavy emphasis on the importance of algebraic derivation, and understanding of Algebra in general. As they say, "Calculus is two steps of magic, and 30 steps of Algebra."

Growing up, math was always my favorite subject. I also found a lot of enjoyment in helping my peers learn the topics through explaining the problems to them, and I was often told that I was good at explaining concepts in a way that made sense.I am currently 21 and a junior in college (Civil Engineering Major with Music Minor) and the subjects I tutor are middle school level maths, Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, ASVAB Math Knowledge and Arithmetic Reasoning, and Music Theory.

I am a sophomore at IUPUI, currently in the process of getting my Mathematics, Economic and Computer Science majors. I have a lot of informal experience helping my peers in various classes during the after-hours, I have done the same all throughout my high school career as well. I love tutoring anybody for just about anything. Being personable and authentic is extremely important to me, but not quite as important as honesty, respect and compassion. Staying true to my word and being reliable is what I tend to strive for. Most of all, I want to be inspiring. My name is Hyerin. I graduated in May 2016 from Case Western Reserve University with a BA in Economics (minor in Russian) and a MA in Bioethics. I am currently in my second year of medical school. Because of my diverse academic background, I am able to tutor in a wide range of topics, from Economics and math to Russian and ACT prep.I have prior experience tutoring as a peer tutor while at Case Western. I was available as a tutor for several economics courses, as well as Human Anatomy and Human Physiology. However, I was predominantly used as a macroeconomics and econometrics tutor.I am currently working as a Peer Leader in my medical school, holding review sessions for the first year students.I choose to tutor because I appreciate all that my education has given me and want to share what I have learned with others who may need help. Hate the travel part, but enjoy myself once I get there :). Outside of the US, I have been to Portugal, Italy, Rep. of Macedonia, Scotland, British Columbia, Canada and Ireland, so far.
