I have tutored many students all the way from elementary school through college. I use examples from the everyday to bring schoolwork to life.

I enjoy helping students understand mathematics as well as gain the confidence to apply the information in many different ways.... My teaching philosophy is to help students understand math in a context related to students. This includes explaining things in terms the student understands as well as using multiple approaches.... I would ask the student what are the areas the student is struggling with as well as areas they are succeeding in mathematics.
