Dedicated to helping you achieve your goals, I am an experienced tutor who has years' experience as both a student and teacher. I have worked with several students over many K-12 subjects and standardized exams (PSAT, SAT, ACT). My approach is useful for the student for whom shortcuts are just not cutting it they want to actually understand the material. Of course sometimes shortcuts are useful but they are not useful beyond a certain point. You are paying for an exclusive service, so I want to make sure there is enough time for you, as a student, to fulfill goals that are reasonable. Routinely measuring and tracking progress in some controlled sense is essential to goal-based curriculum, such as standardized test preparation.

Educated through the Public School System in Elmhurst, IL and graduate from The University of Wisconsin in Madison, I understand the gap that can form between teachers and students first hand. Combining a relational teaching style, and a strong value of education, I believe that the unique needs of every student deserve consideration and that it is the role of the tutor to find the perfect way to teach. It is my personal wish that if a student has a special need, I can fulfill it through flexibility, kindness, and optimistic determination.

My name is Tung. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and a Teaching Credential in Science Education.

Hi, my name is Chris Kokkines. I am a rising sophomore at Indiana University studying finance and business analytics. On campus, I am involved with Microsoft Excel peer tutoring, the Sales and Financial Services Clubs, and the university's Hutton Honors College. I am originally from Vernon Hills, Illinois, where I have additional past tutoring experience at Mathnasium and Kumon.

I graduated from New York University's Stern School of Business in 2020. I am a double major in computer science and finance with a minor in mathematics. After school I worked at Citigroup as a delta one and exotic rates trader. I love playing sports and I participated in soccer, basketball, and track during High School. I also spend lots of time playing video games ranging from Super Smash Bros to Age of Empires.

I received my bachelors degree in sociology from the University of Florida and am currently in the process of applying to medical school. In the meantime, I am doing research as an intern at the Centers for Disease Control. I have always had a great love for learning and teaching has become a natural extension of that. I worked for the University of Florida Athletic Association tutoring student-athletes in Advanced Sociological Theory. This was a challenging experience as I had to make very dense, academic readings accessible to students and help them communicate ideas through writing. I have also tutored high school students for the SAT and ACT. In my spare time, I like to play guitar and follow my favorite sports teams. I can teach many subjects including math, science, social science, history, Latin, and Spanish to name a few. I like to not only help students get better grades but also develop the critical thinking skills that are the foundation for many subjects and disciplines.
