I am an experienced tutor in writing, reading, and biology. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Human Biology and have been a high school teacher of multiple science subjects (biology, chemistry, physical science, etc.) In school, I worked as an English writing tutor for all varieties of subjects, from accounting essays to ESOL student practice.

I am currently a sophomore in college studying Mechanical Engineering. I enjoy math, physics, and Chinese! I grew up living in Hong Kong, China, and just returned to America from living in Taiwan. I have been speaking Mandarin Chinese for 13 years of my life, 2 of which I spent acting as a translator for visitors while I was living in Taiwan. I am trained in the Suzuki violin method and taught violin lessons to children as young as five and adults. I believe that a person of any age can develop a musical talent and learn to analyze literature and become a high-level reader and writer.

There are so many different ways to learn and understand; it’s my job to figure out how the student will understand the skill or concept.
