About Me

I have been a tutor with Varsity since 2025, with many hours of experience focused in tutoring college students in chemistry and calculus. As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, I also have many years of informal experience in tutoring subjects such as high school algebra, calculus, and physics. I also have formal teaching experience in a classroom setting teaching communication and active listening skills to future young teachers. My passion for teaching stems from a desire to help students build strong foundational skills in math and science with a focus on problem-solving rather than just "plug and chug". I believe that understanding the basics is crucial for academic success, and I strive to create engaging learning experiences that encourage students to think critically and ask questions. My approach involves breaking down complex concepts into manageable parts, providing examples, and allowing students ample practice to solidify their understanding.
