I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Human Biology and have been a high school teacher of multiple science subjects (biology, chemistry, physical science, etc.) In school, I worked as an English writing tutor for all varieties of subjects, from accounting essays to ESOL student practice. In English, I am most experienced at reading comprehension and essay writing. I also have considerable experience tutoring general study skills and organization for academic success. I believe strongly in the idea of self-guided discovery, where I guide my students through the process of figuring it out for themselves.
