Hi! I'm Kayla. I hold a BA from Brigham Young University and recently completed my MFA at Hollins University, where I gained valuable experience teaching and mentoring students. I specialize in academic writing, research organization, thesis development, and revising for clarity and flow. I also support students in creative writing, public speaking, and reading comprehension. My teaching philosophy is rooted in helping students feel embodied in their learning. I often incorporate kinesthetic and creative tools to make abstract ideas more tangible, encouraging students to engage with their work through both intellect and self-confidence. I love helping learners find their unique voice, refine their communication, and approach challenges with curiosity and self-assurance.
