About Me

I have over 5 years of tutoring experience and specialize in all grade school levels of math, as well as Spanish. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University Idaho, and I've worked with students of many ages and learning styles. My approach focuses on working through examples together and using guided practice to help students understand why different math methods work, not just how to complete the steps. This allows students to build confidence through clarity and repetition. I am fluent in Spanish thanks to living in Mexico for two years while serving as a full-time missionary volunteer for my church, and I also studied Spanish in both high school and college. I enjoy helping students strengthen their Spanish grammar, comprehension, and conversation skills. I aim to create a patient, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing strong problem-solving skills.
