I am a graduate Mechanical Engineering student at Rice University in Houston, TX. Subjects that I can enlighten with include all levels of Math through Calculus 3, all levels of Physics, lower Chemistry, and Computer Science.

I am a 9 year veteran of tutoring, starting as a freshman in High School volunteering to help young students with their homework. I continued in college tutoring the STEM fields for college and high school students., especially Calculus, Basic Computer Science. I also tutored Essay Writing, Creative Writing, Speech in school. I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelors in Computer Science in May 2014.

I am a senior majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Rice University. I have had the opportunity to work on several projects through the Institute for Global Health at Rice, and I am passionate about designing globally accessible medical devices. I am an easy going but dedicated student. In my free time, I enjoy intramural sports, spending time with friends, and participating in design competitions.

I am also an AWS Academy Accredited Educator giving me access to official teaching materials from AWS. I have also vetted a test bank to be the most reliable source of test questions & have gone beyond that to annotate the confirmed correct answer and comments on why the other answers are incorrect. This understanding of the test questions in their entirety not only teaches the material but goes far into assuring exam certification success.

I'm still earning it every day. But where I formally studied was Lone Star College - Cy-Fair. I graduated with an Associates of Applied Science in 2008. Following that, I enrolled at UTSA to pursue a Biology degree. Two years later, I enlisted in the military.

I am most passionate about math and computer science. I have taught community college developmental math classes for about 2 years. When I was a math student, I learn best by example and as a math teacher and tutor, I prefer to teach by example by walking through the steps and making sure the steps are understood. Also, starting off with the big picture, such as what is the purpose, is important as well. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, exercise, cooking, live music, and game design.

I am a current student at Rice University studying Mathematics and Computer Science. I have lots of tutoring experience, having tutored kids at my high school and at-risk youth. I know how intimidating asking for help can be, which is why I make a point of being patient and respectful with all of my students.
