I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Applied Mathematics, emphasizing in Actuarial Science, and a minor in Music. I have been tutoring for a few years now. I've tutored students of all ages and levels. I like to keep things simple; my approach is to break down difficult problems into smaller, easier, more manageable problems. I teach my students to do the same. I enjoy helping anybody who wants to learn.

I have a B.A. in American History with a minor in French from Kennesaw State University. In addition, I have done two Study Abroad trips to France to study the language and culture. I also love studying both French and American History, particularly the ways in which they have converged. I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students during my teaching tenure. I worked as a tutor at a private school where my primary focus dealt with reading, math and writing. Recently, I taught developmental writing at Eastfield College. My teaching and tutoring experience has empowered me to teach a range of subjects. My passion is writing and reading. I have spent the past 10+ years working with many different students in lots of different subjects including general and organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, MCAT test prept, SAT Chem Subject Test, and even general study and organizational skills! I have worked with high school students, undergraduates, pre-med students preparing for the MCAT, and adults who have gone back to school.
