I did my undergrad in accounting at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA and I received my MSA from Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. While at Notre Dame I was a tutor for student athletes. I currently work full time as a public accountant in Big 4 as an international tax associate. My tutoring style is to be very thorough and ensure that you will be prepared for each topic and all the possible questions and variations that could come out of each topic. I am also a big believer understanding the theory behind each topic and concept. I do this by using real world examples. Which also keeps things very entertaining and engaging.

I received my BA in mathematics and economics from Vanderbilt University. Upon graduating, I was employed as a high school math teacher for four years in the states of Tennessee and Florida, while also tutoring in STEM and test prep for a Nashville-based company. I believe education is the most important tool that a person can have, and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Economics at UNC Chapel Hill. I make a room comfortable when I come in but if it needs energized, I energize it.

I'm an archaeology PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania with extensive teaching experience at the college level. I've taught at Penn, University of the Sciences, and Methodist University in various social sciences, including anthropology, sociology, statistics, public health, and psychology. As a teacher, I'm guided by the idea that what I'm doing with students should be useful to them long-term. Making topics interesting, relevant, and accessible is of paramount importance because it allows students to hone skills that they'll use for the rest of their lives.
