I am a graduate of the University of Phoenix. I received my Masters in Business Administration. I am also a graduate of Morgan State Univerisity and received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. I currently work as an auditor for the federal government. I am in the process of reviewing potential schools for Ph.D. or a DBA (Doctor's in Business Administration) programs. I believe that there is a need for more representation in academia and that is one of the reasons I am pursuing a Ph.D. and DBA.

I am eager to tutor students in the subject of accounting. Even if the student does not want to be an accountant, learning accounting concepts will add value in any endeavor they pursue in life. I enjoy accounting because it is a unique way to add value to a business. Accountants provide and analyze information that others use to make business decisions, whether that be management, lenders, or investors.

I tutor math up to Algebra 1, ACT and SAT test prep, and business classes such as economics. My teaching philosophy is that any concept can be conquered and fully understood; all you have to do is relate the new idea to something you already understand. With practice, you will find yourself not only comfortable with a subject but enjoying it as well!I received my bachelor's in accounting with a Spanish minor at Oral Roberts University. I am currently still attending ORU to obtain additional education in order to become a CPA. I have tutored Spanish at ORU and I currently tutor three students aged 10, 13, and 15 four days a week.Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, playing volleyball, mountain biking, and snowboarding. I love to be active and healthy, and I am always up to travel whenever I get the chance.
