Growing up, I have been a frequent volunteer in nonprofits that teach different subjects to students and also worked at Kumon as an assistant instructor for 5 years. In the past, I primarily worked with students to improve their understanding of various math concepts and also with reading comprehension. I currently attend the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and am also pursuing minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. I love tutoring students in math because it is a topic I enjoy myself and hold high value to moving into the future. I try to prompt the student to think about the different ways to complete problems and ensure that they clearly understand the problem and concept through the use of various examples. Outside of the classroom, I am heavily invested in sports and being active. I frequently work out and play sports such as basketball and soccer, but other than that I watch a lot of shows, read books, and love learning new recipes to cook.
