Members-Only Event: Draw & Discuss With Viral Artists

Grades 5-8

Draw along with two of social media’s favorite artists and character designers, Audrey Hopkins and Casey White, and then share your drawings with them for feedback in an exclusive after-class event. On Tuesday, November 29, Audrey (aka Audity Draws) and Casey are hosting a live StarCourse, Drawn Together, to show young artists how to take ideas and turn them into art. The class will feature a series of drawing challenges for students to perform along with their expert teachers, and then immediately after class, Varsity Tutors Learning Members can share their artwork live on Zoom with Audrey and Casey.

Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to get creative with two renowned artists (who combined have over 14 million followers on TikTok). Here’s how it works:

•From 7:00 to 7:45pm Eastern Time, Audrey and Casey will host the Drawn Together class.

•Beginning at 6:45pm, registered learning members can join via an exclusive “backstage” link, and join Audrey and Casey for a pre-class pep talk before the drawing begins. Members will remain at that one link for both the Drawn Together class and the after-class event.

•When the Drawn Together event ends at 7:45 Eastern Time, registered members will be able to turn on their webcams and microphones to share their art with their expert teachers. They’ll receive feedback, delivered in an upbeat and helpful way, and get to talk about the creative process with expert artists.

•The after-class event will conclude by 8:15pm Eastern Time.

About your expert instructors, Audrey and Casey

An artist and character designer, Audrey is known by her millions of social media followers as Audity Draws. Since posting her artwork to TikTok in 2019, she has amassed over 13 million followers who regularly tune in to see her create and draw characters, and make inanimate objects come to life. She is a regular instructor in the Varsity Tutors StarCourse series.

Casey White is a former art school classmate of Audrey’s, and a viral art sensation of his own. Known for blending art with science and his trademark sense of humor, Casey regularly delights his hundreds of thousands of social media followers with his live art events that drive home the point “you can’t spell livestream without STEAM.”
