I am currently a 5th grade teacher in the beautiful state of Arizona. I have worked with Varsity Tutors for over 5 years now, helping a variety of learners meet the needs of their learning. I graduated from Florida State with my Bachelors in Education and I jumped right into teaching here in Phoenix in 2023.

I am diligent in setting deadlines, editing drafts of term papers, and sharing scholarly resources. My mentoring strategy is both nurturing and persistent, probing the students to find their authorial voice and then guiding them in discovering a logical mode of argumentation.

I am here to provide everyone the support they need to understand the material on their test, and have the confidence to do well. I am ready to provide whatever is needed to achieve any goals you may have.

I'm Brittney! I graduated from Kent State University with my BSN in 2016. I have had a well-rounded career working in Critical Care, Med-Surg, and Hospice. Each of those fields taught me new things about nursing and our patient populations.

I'm currently working on my Masters degree in Nursing Education. I work as an Emergency Medical Technician on a rural 911 truck, and am able to tutor students in EMT school or preparing for the NREMT exam. I have earned my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from The College of Saint Scholastica.
