I am currently attending University of Wisconsin Madison, and expect to have a B.S. in neurobiology in 2024. I am most passionate about science, math, and literature. I believe education is always opportunity to grow in life, and seeking help to better understand educational concepts is a great way to boost confidence and strengthen the understanding of topics. I know different people have different learning methods, and I would tutor according to whichever method fits best for the student. There is nothing better than watching someone have an "ah ha!" moment! I look forward to working with new students.

I attended Jesuit High School in Carmichael, CA where I graduated with a 4.3 GPA taking multiple AP and honors courses (AP Bio, Chem, Physics B, Gov, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, English Lit, and English Lang). I also participated in several tutoring organizations throughout high school.

I am an avid cell molecular biologist, anatomist and neuroscientist with a passion for educating young minds to reach their fullest potential. I have more than a decade of experience in teaching and research at College/University level. Having lived and taught on 2 different continents has enabled me to become more attentive to student's needs and do my best to set them up for future success. My philosophy is that reading and teaching can stimulate the mind but thinking will plant and grow ideas. The approach I use is inspired from my own experiences in learning biological sciences where there seemed to be always an absurd amount of material to be read and understood. By centering on the core principles, I believe it significantly reduces the need to 'cram' concepts but to apply content that they have learnt. My job is to lead students to learn more about themselves as it relates to the subject, that way the knowledge acquired results in permanent change of behavior.

As a passionate educator with a Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from Jordan University of Science and Technology, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. My experience in subjects such as Anatomy , Physiology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology allows me to connect with students on various levels, tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs. I believe in the importance of building confidence and encouraging curiosity, which motivates my students to excel academically. I am excited to share my knowledge and help students navigate their educational journeys, ensuring they not only grasp complex concepts but also develop a love for learning.

I have been teaching for the last 5 years and am very passionate about helping students achieve their goals. I am currently applying for residency in General surgery and I believe that I would be an excellent tutor to help you score well on your board exams. In my experience, helping students with crushing their board exams have been the most enjoyable because it allowed the students to have a tangible outcome on their future. As a former IB student, my love for knowledge runs deep. I majored in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating in December 2015 with honors (BME honors and Science and Technology Honors program) and going on to earn a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the same university in 2019. I am currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the University of Illinois at Chicago and hope to start a career in data science and analytics. I greatly enjoy helping others learn and tutored throughout high school and college; I love seeing the light flash on in a student's eyes when they finally understand something they had been struggling with or when they easily solve a problem. I have tutored both young children as well as high school and college students, in just about every subject. I particularly enjoy language tutoring; I am fluent in Arabic and French and I love literature and poetry. I also love to tutor math and science subjects. My tutoring style is very much student-first; I listen and observe to determine the best approach for each individual student and what methods or strategies will be most helpful for you specifically. I am not averse to making a fool of myself with song or dance if it will help! I enjoy what I do and I want the students I work with to enjoy learning as well.

I am currently a fourth year medical student at Thomas Jefferson medical school. I graduated from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Studio Art. While at Brandeis, I served as a teaching assistant for the introductory organic chemistry course and had the opportunity to closely work with professors to develop teaching plans to lead structured small group learning sessions. I was honored to receive the Emily Dudek Undergraduate Teaching Award for my commitment to my students and their success in the class. Since graduation, I have conducted research in Radiation Oncology at the Massachusetts General Hospital and am pursuing a medical degree. While I come from a science background, I have experience tutoring a broad range of subjects, including English, Math, and Standardized testing. I truly believe every student can succeed in any class with the right tools and a lot of hard work. I look forward to guiding my students in achieving their next academic milestone.

Hi, I recently earned my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Purdue University and have entered the private sector. In my program, I found that teaching and instructing students was very enjoyable and I wish to continue that by being a tutor. I have been a successful tutor for over a decade and know how to instruct to a variety of different skill sets and learning abilities.
