As a former IB student, my love for knowledge runs deep. I majored in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating in December 2015 with honors (BME honors and Science and Technology Honors program) and going on to earn a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the same university in 2019. I am currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the University of Illinois at Chicago and hope to start a career in data science and analytics. I greatly enjoy helping others learn and tutored throughout high school and college; I love seeing the light flash on in a student's eyes when they finally understand something they had been struggling with or when they easily solve a problem. I have tutored both young children as well as high school and college students, in just about every subject. I particularly enjoy language tutoring; I am fluent in Arabic and French and I love literature and poetry. I also love to tutor math and science subjects. My tutoring style is very much student-first; I listen and observe to determine the best approach for each individual student and what methods or strategies will be most helpful for you specifically. I graduated from University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2025 and have my MD degree. I am currently a PGY-1 psychiatry and internal medicine resident at Emory University. While I tutor a wide range of subjects, I am most passionate about helping students develop stronger science and math foundations and grow confidence with standardized tests such as the ACT. I believe that anyone is capable of learning these subjects, and I enjoy finding new creative tutoring strategies that cater to each student's individual needs.

I received my B.S. in Biology from Rhodes College, my M.S. in Biology from Alabama in Birmingham, and a PhD in Anatomy and Physiology from Duke University. My teaching over the last few years has focused on Histology (MicroAnatomy) and Physiology. Teaching modern histology and physiology requires a strong understanding of cell and molecular biology, and I incorporate these areas into my current teaching. I have also taught Genetics, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, and Introductory Biology. During my 25 years at the University of Puget Sound, I continually served on our Health Professions Advising Committee, and was chair of this committee for three years. We advised students in all aspects of their applications for professional schools in diverse areas of health care professions, such as medical and dental school, among other professional health-related graduate programs. As chair of the committee I was solely responsible for writing committee letters for all of our students who applied through our committee. As a science educator, I serve my students, and do my utmost to provide them with a modern education in biology. I sincerely love teaching, which for me includes preparation through literature research, and organization and delivery of the best information. I enjoy all aspects of teaching, but most especially the reward of seeing my students learn, and secondarily, my learning of my field and pedagogy, through my efforts as a teacher.

Reetish is currently a Medical Student. He was born in Winnipeg, Canada and after moving from several places, he now calls Oviedo, Florida home. Reetish currently has a Masters of Science in Neuroscience and is hoping to graduate medical school in 2026. He enjoys tutoring all hardworking students in the areas of math and science including difficult courses such as Calculus, Anatomy, Physiology, and algebra. Hi, I recently earned my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Purdue University and have entered the private sector. In my program, I found that teaching and instructing students was very enjoyable and I wish to continue that by being a tutor. I am currently a fourth year medical student at Thomas Jefferson medical school. I graduated from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Studio Art. While at Brandeis, I served as a teaching assistant for the introductory organic chemistry course and had the opportunity to closely work with professors to develop teaching plans to lead structured small group learning sessions. I was honored to receive the Emily Dudek Undergraduate Teaching Award for my commitment to my students and their success in the class. Since graduation, I have conducted research in Radiation Oncology at the Massachusetts General Hospital and am pursuing a medical degree. While I come from a science background, I have experience tutoring a broad range of subjects, including English, Math, and Standardized testing.
