I am a graduate of Boston University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Biology, and a Pre-Medical concentration. Given this, my academic knowledge is obviously eclectic. In the past few years following my education, I have discovered a passion for teaching and currently work as an Instructor for Seven Hills Foundation. I have a straight-forward teaching philosophy which applies to each student as an individual learner. This helps to identify and clarify misunderstandings in the process rather than stumbling over information. I am able to teach in English and Writing, as well as across most maths and sciences, including Organic/Inorganic Chemistry, Biology, Statistics, Algebra, and Calculus. I strongly believe in lifelong learning, and try to practice that philosophy daily. My other passion is music, as I play guitar and piano. Otherwise, I enjoy spending time with friends and simple moments of relaxation.

I am an artist, mathematician, and avid baker, and a goal of mine is to share my passion for math and science with my students. I studied both theatre and mathematics in college, so my outgoing personality tends to keep my students engaged while my strong math background allows me to give them the most straightforward answers to their questions.

I am a third-year undergraduate student of The University of Texas at Austin. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Neuroscience along with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Throughout the last thee years, I have trained to cycle across the country, collaborated with many organizations supporting the special needs community, and tutored many students of different age levels. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Science, Statistics, and ACT preparation. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, we always seem to make drastic improvements in the English and Math oriented sections. I am passionate about tutoring because I believe that every individual is best suited to learn the material in a different way, and I want to help encourage students to believe in their education and continue pushing forward. I am a honors student at the University of Minnesota, studying aerospace engineering and computer science. As such I have a strong background in STEM, and I hope I can bring this expertise to you. As an honors student, I have taken challenging courses that go above and beyond what is required in physics, calculus, and programming. I have experience tutoring my peers at the university, and I am on track to get CRLA tutoring certified. I find that the best way to get students to learn is to connect with them at a personal level and to do example problems to get practice at applying the concepts learned from class.
