I am a graduate of San Jose State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Molecular Biology. I also have a minor in chemistry. In college, I worked as a tutor for the university for 2 years. I tutored in math, biology, chemistry and study skills. I am also ESL/ELL certified. I am familiar with the Common Core Standards as well as standards specific to Texas and California. I am taking this year off teaching so that I can have more time at home with my new baby boy. I hope to still make an impact on students and support them in their learning through tutoring.
