I'm a graduate of CSUMB (California State University Monterey Bay) with a BA in Japanese Language and Culture. All classes were done exclusively in Japanese and my senior thesis was also done in Japanese. Furthermore, I have lived over a year and a half in Japan.

I am a very caring person making me well-suited to work with children. I have a joyful personality that engages children effectively as well as maintains a good rapport with families. I have many strategies to support students in retaining information and strategies to help them achieve confidence and success.

I am a middle and high school math teacher, and have four years of experience as a tutor of chemistry, math, biology, and physics. I recently graduated with my M.A. in Mathematics from Providence College, and completed my B.S. in Environmental Science from California State University - Monterey Bay in 2011.
