I am a scientist obtaining my PhD in chemical biology after having graduated from Scripps college with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. I love biology and biochemistry and am excited to share my knowledge with students. While biology, biochemistry, and chemistry can be daunting fields, I think approaching them with curiosity and enthusiasm is the key to success. In my spare time, I enjoy playing softball, gardening, and hiking.

I am in no hurry to work any faster than is necessary for the student. If they need to keep practicing a skill, that is what we do. If they need to take a step or two back, we can do that too.

I am a recent graduate from Scripps College where I received my BA in Psychology and minored in Portuguese as well as Spanish, Latin American, and Caribbean literatures and cultures.
