Tutoring review by Melissa in Moraga, CA
The plan for us was to continue working through her old work. We completed 1.5 packets, mostly about algebra (there were some variables, which she had a bit of a hard time with) and she completed most of the problems carefully and was open to suggestions. She is clearly quite bright. If she can focus more on the problems at hand, and on working through them diligently and methodically, I know she has plenty of potential to be very good at math.

I had a great session with the student. We worked on several of her homework assignments, and we covered how to find the slope of a line and its x and y intercepts, fractions, plotting points on a graph, and more work on dimensional analysis. Our session was very productive, and she seemed eager to learn. She expressed that she was more confident with the material after going over it. Overall, this was an excellent session.
