I have obtained Master degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Massachusetts and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Texas. I have extensive background and experiences in several fields including Mathematics, Physics and Engineering.I am interested in sharing my knowledge with students, in helping them understand the subject and solving problems. I believe a good tutor can provide guidance, leading students through a thought process in solving problems. A good tutor will motivate the student to think and propose his or her own solutions and develop independent learning.

I am a graduate of Minnetonka High School and an incoming freshman at the University of Minnesota. I have done 2 years of classes at the University of Minnesota through the PSEO dual credit program. I tutor physics and math, at the high school and introductory college level. In my spare time, I like to yoyo, play chess, watch movies, and read.

I am currently a Senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in the Biomedical Engineering program at The University of Texas at Austin. I am also a pre-medicine student and plan to attend Medical School after graduation. I have had the opportunity to work at Kumon Learning Center as the Lead Assistant. During this time, I tutored all levels of math but specifically focused on advanced math i.e. Calculus. Additionally, I have served as a private tutor in the past as well. I tutor a broad range of subjects, however, I am most passionate about math and science. Being a student in STEM and a STEM mentor I am hope to motivate and inspire students to show that these subjects are nothing to be afraid of and are something they are capable of doing. My teaching philosophy stresses fundamentals to build on a solid base and be able to apply your knowledge and skills and develop critical thinking skills. I currently work as a software developer at major tech company, but love helping students achieve their goals. My teaching style is critical thinking oriented, I like asking and working out key questions and problems that help students develop a strong understanding of the fundamental. My passion is the sciences and math. I want to help everyone become a better student. I currently work on designing cellular tower structures and analyzing loading on these structures, but I've also designed consumer products goods in the office furniture and automotive industries.I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) in 2008 with my BSME (Go Big Red!) and MBA from the University of Iowa in 2012.I have taught Junior Achievement, been a Big Sister (as part of Big Brothers/Big Sisters), and was a college T.A. in chemistry for UNL. I have been a guest lecturer for UNL and UNO (Omaha) for the Complete Engineer seminars in 2020 and 2021.I am excited to help others learn about engineering, math and sciences, and love sharing my lessons learned throughout my career to help the next generation within their own STEM careers!
